the problem is the system
the system is capitalism, which has been corrupted by money
now you say money is capitalism, but money has become an abstracted relationship to what it is actually worth
money isn't directly worth anything, it has been taken off the "gold standard" (if that really even meant anything, what the fuck is gold gonna do for you anyway? eat it? no. put a roof over your head? no) it isn't worth any direct commodity or service, it is manipulated by people with large amounts of money to maintain their large amounts of money.
capitalism actually thrives off of scarcity, allowing people to jack prices based off of demand and lack of supply
the whole argument for capitalism is that you need it to breed competition and innovation, otherwise everyone becomes a lazy fuck just living off the government/system
but introduce technology and it fucks up that that system or depending where you stand makes your profits go up exponentially
and the majority of the population is happy to "follow", not everybody is an innovator or leader
everyone in the world could be fed right now, every one could be housed right now, but there is no profit in that
money has abstracted the value of things, it has instituted an unnatural way of life, people grow up thinking money will solve everything, but don't realize the actual value of things IE necessities vs. luxuries
the system is unsustainable
but hey we are in the system, what are we to do? play the game
nah fuck you, fight the power, fuck the system, or at least start the dialogue and embrace the change, followers can't help but follow pour a little liquor out and look pass them
or drink that scotch!
